Description

We are seeking dedicated and passionate Elementary Teachers to join our school community. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for elementary students.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Curriculum Implementation:

    • Implement and adapt approved curriculum to meet the needs of diverse learners.
    • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with educational standards.
  2. Classroom Management:

    • Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
    • Effectively manage student behavior and create a conducive learning environment.
  3. Assessment and Progress Monitoring:

    • Assess and evaluate students' academic and social progress.
    • Utilize various assessment tools to inform instructional decisions.
  4. Individualized Instruction:

    • Differentiate instruction to accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
    • Provide additional support or challenges to meet individual student needs.
  5. Parent and Guardian Communication:

    • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about student progress.
    • Collaborate with families to support students' educational goals.
  6. Professional Development:

    • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay informed about educational trends and best practices.
    • Participate in school-wide initiatives and collaborative professional learning communities.
  7. Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement interdisciplinary projects.
    • Work with special education staff and support services to address diverse student needs.
  8. Technology Integration:

    • Incorporate technology into lessons to enhance learning experiences.
    • Foster digital literacy skills among students.
  9. Extracurricular Involvement:

    • Participate in or lead extracurricular activities that contribute to the school community.
    • Support and attend school events and functions.
  10. Professional Conduct:

    • Adhere to ethical and professional standards outlined by the school and district.
    • Demonstrate a commitment to the overall well-being and development of students.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • State teaching certification.
  • Previous experience working with elementary students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
